Do your feet sound like sandpaper rubbing together when you drag your feet on the carpet or move them around under the sheets? If so, check out these three ways you can soften your feet. Even if you feet aren’t sandpaper-like, you should still apply one of these methods to keep them soft and touchable.
Soften Your Feet
Socks Method
I explained the socks method in my Softer Feet, One Sock At A Time post. As I explained in this post, you apply vaseline to feet followed by a pair of socks before bed at each night. This method takes a bit longer simply because you’re allowing the vaseline and socks to do its job in keeping your feet moisturized and slowly softening those hard places.
Pumice Stone Method
This is one of my favorite methods because it’s something I can do quickly while in the shower. I usually purchase a pumice stone from my local grocery store (find it in the beauty aisle) for cheap. With the pumice stone method, after your shower, lather up your feet, and rub the bottom and sides of your feet vigorously with your pumice stone.
Smoothing Tools Method
With this method, a battery powered tool is needed. I suggest the Achilles’ Heel Spa-Powered Heel Smoother by Bliss. With heel smoothers like these, you don’t have to exert as much energy as the pumice stone method. Products like these gently remove hard calluses from your feet.
Winter is coming soon, and I know women tend to neglect their feet, but it’s important to take care of them throughout the year. The air is drier in the winter which causes our skin to dry out. Get ahead of hard, dry skin by implementing one of these methods into your daily or weekly routines.
Have you ever rubbed the bottom of your feet against your leg and almost cut yourself?
Yeah, not cute.
Take care of your feet and your feet will take care of you!
I was not compensated for this post. Bliss’ PR team sent me this product free of charge to try.
