Was that title corny or catchy? I was going for catchy but reading it out loud it seemed a tad bit corny. Oh well, I tried.
Recently, I got the opportunity to test drive the 2016 Kia Optima SX Turbo but most importantly I was able to spend some much-needed one on one time with my big sister.
Though we live in the same state, and I’m in her refrigerator once a week, our one on one convos at her place are usually interrupted by one of my nieces asking for “a minute” of my time to help them sneak a snack out of the kitchen. My youngest niece isn’t even in school yet so what does she know about minutes??!
I’ll give you guys the deets of our QT in another post, but this post is all about this beautiful 2016 Kia Optima in Remington Red with black leather interior and red trim.
Let me tell you some of my favorite features of the 2016 Kia Optima:
- Navigation system & rear view and front view camera
- Power-folding heated mirrors with turn signals – the outside mirrors automatically fold in when I lock the car which is great for street side parking
- HID headlights low-key remind me of Transformers, and I’d like to think the car I had was an Autobot NOT a Decepticon
- Memory Driver’s seat which helps me get my seat right back to where I need it in case someone else moves it
- Heated and cooling front seats
- Auto-dimming rear view mirror
- Bluetooth wireless technology
- Panoramic Sun Roof
- Dual-zone automatic temperature control with rear vents
The starting price of the 2016 Kia Optima is $29,690. I had the privilege to enjoy the SX Turbo, which includes the SXT Premium Tech Package.
My sister is a TRUE West Indian because she always had on the seat warmer and kept her side of the car at 80 degrees.
My 4-year-old niece said, and I quote, “I love this car, Aunty! It’s the best car ever!” She was really mesmerized by all of the buttons and the panoramic sunroof.
My other nieces loved the car as well.
All in all, I honestly am considering Kias now. I was never a fan but boy oh boy have they stepped their game ALL the way up…like ALL THE WAY.
Get into this color one more time before this post ends.
Stay tuned for the rest of my #DriveKia week with the 2016 Kia Optima!
No, I was not compensated for this review. Yes, I test drove this vehicle for free. Yes, you CAN buy me a 2016 Optima and I may or may not love you long time.
