Football season is here!
I don’t know about you but when I think about Football season, I think about all the food I have to prepare for Sunday games. Not only meal preps but the cleanup process as well. This year, I made it my goal (get it?) to make Fall Football “eats” quick and easy. How? By stopping into Sam’s Club and picking up some tasty, frozen Red Baron pizzas. Not just any Red Baron pizzas but the Red Baron Deep Dish Minis and Red Baron Deep Dish Singles. Red Baron’s minis and singles are small but packed with so much flavor. They are easy to grab and enjoy in between plays.
There are various ways to cook these pizzas – conventional oven, microwave oven, or grill. I chose to split cooking between the microwave and conventional oven. Of course, using the microwave is quicker but for a crispier crust, the oven is the way to go.
We always make a bet on who would be on the Sunday Football Clean Up Crew. Losers get the privilege to clear the table and wash the dishes while the winners relax for the remainder of the evening. The best thing about being the host is being exempt automatically from the cleanup crew. Only the guys take part in this bet, by the way. They decided to throw out the initial bet and play football to determine who would clean up.
There’s something about men watching their favorite sports that give them “I can do that too even though I haven’t done it in years” powers. Let’s just say, next year I will be adding Bengay, Icy Hot, and Epson Salt to the football list if they continue that tradition.
Sunday Football was such a fun time and I can’t wait to do it all over again next week!
Have you tried Red Baron’s Deep Dish products? Which one is your favorite? Minis or singles?
Though I was compensated by Red Baron for this post, all opinions are my own.
