I’ve been forced to learn how to make crab dip and I’m happy I perfected it. I’ve tried this recipe a few times and I want to share it with all of you. If you love hot crab dip as much as I do, here’s my recipe so you can make it in the comfort of your own home. Enjoy!
Hot Crab Dip Recipe
- 8 oz lump crab meat
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbs minced green onion
- 1 tbs minced garlic cloves
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all the ingredients, minus the 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and 2oz of the 8oz crab meat, in a bowl. Mix well.
- Pour half of mixed ingredients into baking dish.
- Add remaining 2oz of crab meat to baking dish.
- Pour remaining mix into baking dish.
- Cover mix in baking dish with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Optional step: Warm baguette slices in the oven for 10 minutes to eat with dip.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
